Instructional leadership cohort

• Have shown they align with the virtues and mindsets of Want More? Do More!
• Will be coaching at least one teacher throughout the school year
• Are humble in that they can easily give and receive feedback
• Are hungry in that they have a relentless drive that enables them to receive information and turn intention into action towards excellence
• Are smart in that they have the social awareness that allows them to work collaboratively as a team

• Attending in person and actively participating in PD sessions throughout the year, for a total of 12 full days of professional development 
• Recording coaching meetings at their school throughout the year to submit for feedback from their Want More? Do More! instructional coach
• Going all-in with their fellow cohort members to get better faster by problem solving, exchanging ideas, and being receptive to feedback from other members of the group

• 12 full days of interactive professional development in person, with exact session dates and locations to be determined based on ILC participation
• Personalized development with at least 3 one-on-one meetings with their assigned Want More? Do More! coach, focusing on specifically-tailored action steps for best practices with Observation and Feedback or Weekly Data Meetings
• Resources and handouts that can be shared

Over 160 alumni have completed our program, coaching over 800 teachers and reaching over 20,000 students in North and South Carolina.

The biggest impact we make is empowering our Cohort members to be consistent in their role as instructional coaches.

Observation & Feedback and  

Weekly Data Meetings are the 

cornerstones of instructional impact.

Of our alumni, 131 have earned Gold Status in Observation & Feedback, and 86 have earned Double Gold in both Observation & Feedback and Weekly Data Meetings.

Of our current partnering schools, 

7/7 met or exceeded growth 

(with 4/7 exceeding growth).

2 out of our 7 current partnering schools were in the top 10 out of 2,400 NC public schools for growth. Both of these schools exceeded growth in all tested classes.
